um, well... i can think of several things.. first being the time of year it is... a lil bit cold yet to be playing in water -- and the obvious thing that stood out is the destination -- that tree isn't going to move all on its own outta your way. LOL
Well, actually no it isn't too cold. Being 80 outside and the fact that children seem immune to cold water...I would definately say that for one, the yard looks good! But, sadly...it seems that the logic of having an end point of such immovable proportions would result in major medical bills. Either that, if the tree is the starting point, then there is something to push off from rather that doing all that silly running and exercising.
pish posh... 80 degrees.. I looked at farmgirlfare's sight and she's got white stuff -- and it ain't shipping peanuts or her adorable sheep. so what if she's at least two states NORTH of florida -- its COLD. blue lips and all....
It really was somewhere around 80*F the day this picture was taken. I was wearing shorts, blinding the world with my legs that day.
As for the events tied to the picture? I failed to inspect the amusements before permitting the use of them. I was cooking dinner, the youngest was asking for days to go on the slip n slide. I made the mistake of entrusting the 13 year old to set it up for her. He claims he didn't think....or he thought too much. She successfully enjoyed the water and vinyl surface for at least 20 minutes before she subsequently slid into the tree and the border around it. She gets a certain tone of indignation when telling others how she acquired the scrapes on her arm and knee, blaming her brother for every bit of it too.
I'm old enough to have adolescents, young enough to be adolescent. I am harried with children and a spouse. My father's heritage contributed to my tendencies. My few years of experience have made me what I am. I am The Feisty Irish Wench. And I'm still allergic to stupidity.
This should explain a few things though
